I remember him breaking his nose following a clash with Emile Heskey during a game with Aston Villa and being out of action for a good while. He returned against Manchester City on New Year's Day wearing a custom-made protective mask and looked like something out of the Phantom of the Opera!

Thomas Sorenson Is my favourite keeper we've had, we've had some good goalkeepers over the years mind. Gordon, mignolet,Pickford to name a few
 
I was once behind him in the queue at Yengtze River chinese in Boldon after he broke his beak... he ordered a shed load of food and I had to wait for ages... he was alright in goal as well like
