surely they won't make the same mistake they did with solskjaer. Nobody can be that stupid surely.if they appoint Carrick next season, it’s good news for everyone else. Teams will quickly work out his tactics, and it’ll end the same way it did at Boro: a bad run and the sack.
Sunderland already exposed his weaknesses and beat them when he was charged for boro.
depends on thier owner. They were stupid to keep amorin for a very long time. Should have sacked him ages ago lolsurely they won't make the same mistake they did with solskjaer. Nobody can be that stupid surely.
There's a good argument that Solskjaer's reign was hijacked by Ronaldo. It was all going well until he was lumped with him.surely they won't make the same mistake they did with solskjaer. Nobody can be that stupid surely.
he's done a good job, no doubt about that, but surely they should be looking at "elite" managers if they want to be taken seriously again. This just feels like another disaster waiting to happen. The same has happened with Eddie howe to an extent, in the fact that any manager can come into a club full of doom and gloom and make everyone happy again, simply by not being the last guy. But when that falls away, what are you left with? There's a good argument that Solskjaer's reign was hijacked by Ronaldo. It was all going well until he was lumped with him.
It would be funny if they were backed into a corner with Carrick though. Could easily see the first half of next season wasted. By the time he's sacked the big managerial players aren't wanting to come into a disaster half way through a season.
Difficult not to appoint him now though. What if they get Pochettino, it goes tits up and the fans go nuts as they had Carrick doing a perfectly good job.

Agree, Sir Scruffy Jim is more hands on than the Glazers.depends on thier owner. They were stupid to keep amorin for a very long time. Should have sacked him ages ago lol
People off their tits saying this is a decent appointment. Guy failed at Boro in the championship.
4th, 8th and sacked at 10th.
Semi-final defeat in the playoffs to Coventry as good as it’s been.
Even the likes of Mowbray, Wilder, Martin and about a million others have done more and proven themselves to better than him
In fairness in the long-term I don’t think the OP is to far out. United have profited from the fact so many clubs have been in Europe but on the flip side if someone said they would have this many points after 37 games back in January they would call you mental. I feel it’s Ole mark 2. If there is ever a year for a ‘surprise’ winner of the PL, it could be next year given the departure of Pep. That team could have been United but I don’t see with Carrick.
Tend to agree. Thought this of solksjaer too..however I also thought arteta would fail so what do we know. He'll be on the brink within 10 games of next season
You wanna bet?surely they won't make the same mistake they did with solskjaer. Nobody can be that stupid surely.

Potentially Villa but I would actually back Chelsea under Alonso slightly more with a Europe-free season*Villa? The wizards?
Let’s see how he does next season when he has to be more than not Amorim. Stand by what I said.
Ole finished second and got European finalTend to agree. Thought this of solksjaer too..however I also thought arteta would fail so what do we know.
