Michael Carrick

nothings certain in football, who do you think they should have got as a 4 month stop gap instead ?
Wish they'd gone for a proper dinosaur me, just to for the crack, Pulis or McCarthy, hell get them both in.

It would never happen but they could genuinely do worse than reuniting Mowbray and Amad til the end of the season. At least that way you're not left with a tricky situation come the summer.

Carrick could just be another Ole whereby they squeak in to the Champions League places and then have a difficult decision to make. The last Champions League spot is wide open.

I also unironically think they should have given Keane a go just to get some standards back, but that ship has sailed now. Should have probably went back in with Ole.

Think it'll be one of Tuchel or Ancelotti in the summer.

Brought in Woodgate and Holland 🤣
Looks like Southgate in the summer? Dreadful appointments
Not sure what people were expecting TBH. I'm sure all the worlds top coaches are forming an orderly queue around Old Trafford as we speak for a 5 month gig at Man Utd
Any manager/coach worth their salt wants to bring their own backroom team in when taking the job full time which will happen in summer. Nobody of any note is going to join that setup for 5 months.

He’ll start well and they’ll fade
How he gets the Man Utd job is staggering Keane is right it’s jobs for boys culture, keep in with Ferguson your in

De bris owned him last year twice, he had zero plan b failed to get them in the play offs bottling it on many occasions….. 6 months later Man Utd manager

Man Utd are now like us under Ellis Short, but whilst also being on all the drugs in the world at the same time. Zany.

Deciding to chuck the rest of the season in the bin January is such a defeatist attitude.

Imagine Le Bris left us in January and we appointed Procter until the end of the season having clearly not bothered to even consider any long term options. There'd be ructions. 😂😂
Doddsy

Only two years since we did similar

We weren't trying to finish top 6 in the prem and we werent anywhere near as attractive as what Manchester United should be. No one else seemed willing to give us a second glance so we ended up asking one of the coaching team to look after the team. United havent even tried. They've just immediately jumped into asking ex players to take training for the next 5 or 6 months.

I think this appointment will work out well, he will get the gig full time and then be sacked in 18month.

Then Jonny Evans will be handed the Rolex rinse and repeat

Sour grapes factory incoming. Did they ever watch any of the one-dimension football he loves? I've got a feeling this could very wrong for them.
