It's professional football guys. There's little if any loyalty from players to clubs, they are out for themselves and the best deals that they can get in what is a short career. When you are a pro you don't have a lone in with any particular club.
As for today - Hull were up for it and played the ref (along with trying harder than us). Can you blame them for that? We do the same if the opportunities arise.
Good luck to the lad. He's in a team that will finish higher in the league than us and has an FA SF to look forward to and most probably a final. Sure he's not bothered what we think and why should he? He played well today which is more than can be said for our players.

just because its football does not mean we can expect an old friend to play by the rules.
Everyone should play by the rules. Players will stretch them for the club that currently pays their wages.
