Mexico - We need to take advantage


Unless there's something I'm missing, I feel like I haven't seen the Mexicans pipe up about anything for ages. I read that they had chosen to support us as their adopted team all season but they seem to have gone quiet.
 
We just booked a holiday to Mexico for this summer so I’ll do my bit by taking a couple of SAFC tops to wear round the hotel and a towel.
 
Deffo need everyone to dress-up in Mexican ponchos and hats, on the final home game of the season

Which is what they do every season by all accounts.

The odd few will stick with us from now on but next season the rest will just move on to the next club.
 
It’s a huge market but if we were serious we should also have a better Spanish-speaking social media presence. It wouldn’t actually take much doing, plus certain players such as Alderete could feature in club interviews in Spanish.
 
Definitely should have had some form of Tifo/Flag display when this started.

A simple "hello to our mexican friends" in English and Spanish would have been enough

So good, broke me heart when we sold him to Derby. But let’s get the Mexicans on board, great opportunity to share the faith.
