Methven at the match

The time and place was a few weeks ago at the meeting, when the club couldn't / wouldn't disclose their involvement. Until they do there will be questions and doubts

I think certain fans should be grateful for another convincing win and signs of real progress for the time being, given the circumstances. We all know how difficult it has been at points this season and of course over the last few years. I don't such negativity would have a positive influence on the team and supporters should be allowed to enjoy the festive period. It's quite right that some can question the ownership and hold them accountable but there's a time and place. I don't think it's now.

At least tag me properly.

Firstly, he’s not my mate. I simply had a conversation with him about football in a pub before a football game.

Secondly, what is abundantly clear is that salmon pants is at every game these days. So surely of all those advocating spitting in his pint, spiking his drink, giving him dogs abuse, slapping him etc, at least one of them is going to ‘have their day’ with him. I look forward to reading about it on here. Unless, of course, people are full of shit.
To your first point It’s early and I’m thick

To your second I know, was just being daft mate

To be fair people complain about this part ownership constantly. If they complain when we are getting beat then it’s “couldn’t wait to jump on the clubs back after a few bad results”

The subject is a constant fly in the ointment and needs putting to bed as it’s poisonous.Only one way to solve it aswell ;everyone cut there losses and move on as it’ll start turning the fan base against KLD in the end.
I believe SD and CM have done some good things for the club since coming in but when your paying customers don’t like you at all then the writing is on the wall and the longer it goes on the more decremental it becomes for all.Regardless if we go up to the top flight in two consecutive promotions for argument’s sake this fan base will never forget or forgive CM or SD for whatever grudge they hold.

You know we’re on a decent run when people are looking for things to complain about other than what’s happening on the pitch…

Absolutely nowt to do with what is happening on the pitch. Nobody wants him or his sidekick anywhere near us (the fans). Keep yer shares in the club, sell whenever you want of course, your choice probably waiting for a big fat profit. However, you are NOT a fan of OUR club. We don’t want to see you at any of our games. Do the right thing, be a silent partner until you get a return on your shares, then fuck off from whence you came. Before you do though, at least admit to pilfering 20million. You utter bastard!

What a load of bollox, you are making it sound like it would be down to KLD if he keeps CM, it’s down to Charlie, who
Plain and simply will be dreaming of Safc in the premier to get his huge cut out of his 5%, although why anybody would give the p**** anything for his 5% I certainly wouldn’t, hope nobody ever does, just let him keep putting his money in, his 5% is complete non entity anyway.
6%

I see the club stooge is banging on about time and place :lol:

Amazing that people take issue with those that see these lying chancers for what they are.
.... Look how well we've done in difficult circumstances, everyone should be grateful, get behind us and stop sniping from the other side....

...... Maybe mistakes have been made but now is not the time to question, wait until it has all gone away in the hope nobody cares anymore on the back of our success....

Is this fella a government advisor?

We could be 20 points clear at the top of the premier league and I’d still have issue with these bastards being involved at our club after what they’ve done to us

Access? To what?

People. They only got the chance to buy the club because Short was one of Methven's clients. Networking is a skill that is hammered into Etonians even more than it in other public schools. The problem with the way it's done there is to treat the "lower orders" as if they were an amorphous blob, which explains a lot of his behaviour, without in way excusing it. Methven (like all OE's is a schmoozer), and sometimes you need that schmooze to get people to talk to you who may otherwise not have. It's all part of the act, but if it gets us the possibility of better sponsorships as we get back to where we need to be .....

I think “certain fans” can support the team / club and still want answers to why the 2 clowns are still here whenever they want to

He has a lot of contacts, so he can (believe it or not) get us access more easily.
You think people in football will take any notice of Charlie Metvhen, haway man, comeback into the real world, I have spoken to people who know you, who say you are real nice man.
You are obviously a fairly intelligent guy.
Why do you constantly defend these people.

Any sign of this happening in his 3 1/2 years at the club?
