Just looking at my fuel plans now I’m currently on a fixed rate, with the prices going down am i better off switching to a variable rate
 
Are they obliged to provide working smart meters now?
Eon pestered us for years to get one so we did. About a year later it stopped working and when I get in touch with them for a repair we were basically told to piss off. I even offered to pay for a new one but they said there weren't any that were even compatible now.

Different companies weren't compatible a few year ago, and they upgraded to version 2 & 3
