As someone said earlier, announce these late and stop having them following a day's play to keep numbers down enough to save a few quid of free tea and coffee and reduce the likelihood of awkward questions being asked.
I might come along just to ask why every year we fail to get membership cards out on time and what the point of having a ground is if we only bother to open half of it

I did think similar like, cause there aren’t many members who live within half an hour of the ground. So it’s hardly worth going all the way to CLS for a free filter coffee.
