Perhaps before the work begins (if it does) there should be guest appearances from former stands - so obviously the legendary Old Scoreboard Wooden Stand and maybe that tall skinny green stand from last season between the Gym and the Lumley End sightscreen.

As for the Trapdoor Titans - I think there's more chance of the Tennessee Titans putting in an appearance at the Riverside than there is for that Quiz ever happening.:lol:

was that actually around long enough to get a name? i know we had the lord ottis gibson stand as a name but i'm not sure we ever actually picked a stand for it :lol:

also we need a way to distinguish the main block of the double decker from the bit that neighbours the media block.

i think in front of the media block should be the marty's massive stand, or possibly the bingo stand.

john wayne hastings hill has a ring to it.

Thats always been The Arctic Stand especially the middle section.🥶

Bingo Stand/Roker Riviera End....no definitely prefer John Hastings Hill.

the roker riviera end is lovely, but a bit of a mouthful. i was actually out on the roker riviera today and even stopped in at marty's favourite bar but didn't see him.

it kind of defies the logic of it if john wayne hastings hill isn't a hill.... might need to reserve that for the racecourse?
