DURHAM CCC MEMBERS ARRANGEMENTS



Thank you for your continued support of Durham County Cricket Club as a member and for purchasing tickets to the first Ashes Test Match to be held at the ground between 9th and 13th August. The purpose of this information sheet is to ensure you get the most from your visit and you are aware of the arrangements we have made for members.

As you would expect for such a prestigious event space will be at a premium. However we have arranged for a designated Members Area for the Ashes in the Indoor Cricket School at the south east side of the ground.

In the Members Area we are able to offer the following to our members:

Complimentary tea and coffee throughout the day.
Available for purchase - Bacon sandwiches available each morning along with sandwiches, snack items and soft drinks throughout the day.
Sale of beer tokens at the standard members price that can then be exchanged at any of the retail bars in the ground.
Drop in sessions by Durham CCC players at lunch intervals.

In addition we are also able to offer Durham CCC Members a discounted restaurant offer in the Riverside Lounge on days 2, 3 and 4 from the normal price of £40 per person, to a Durham CCC Members price of £15.95 for canapés followed by a two course luncheon. This must be booked in advance and to do this please call Natalie on 0191 387 2876 quoting your membership number in order to making a booking.

Additionally I hope you have been able to finalise your travel plans. If you are travelling from north of the ground and using the A1 please be aware of the major roadworks at Allerdene Bridge which are causing delays and allow plenty of time for your journey. If you are intending to park in the car parks around the ground also ensure you have purchased a parking pass in advance, note you will not be able to pay on the day.

Finally I do hope you have a fantastic day at the Ashes - it promises to be a very special occasion for the Club and the whole region.

Bought my tickets from another source for the Sunday but got my book so hopefully will be enough.
