He has talent there's no doubt about that but he shouldn't be starting games for a team pushing for promotion in the championship at the moment. Last season he struggled to get in the team while on loan at Hibernian.

He wouldn’t be starting but both our left wingers are injured. He is a 19 year old kid playing out of position and putting in a shift every game.

People went to town on him in the matchday thread, in the heat of the moment. Me included. Just gutted he didn’t do anything with the chance. No big touch, no early hit. Fans were rightly in the heat of the moment frustrated. I don’t think he’s had any extreme levels of negativity

doesn’t help that he’s playing out of position, mind. Against Bristol city at home it was so frustrating watching him sprint forward and have 0 end product. Defensive positioning was non existent too. Can’t blame people for being frustrated. Albeit it’s not fair him being out of position too

Absolutely agree… and although he missed at the end who else in the team would have had the pace to break clear… the finishing wil come.

He's just not very good m8 . That run through on goal yesterday was awful he may as well of just passed it to the keeper to save his energy . Didn't even get a shot away being clean through was the most frightening thing about it . This is our back up striker if Wilson gets injured

Maybe you should shorten your name to something more apt like ,Tossa ? Try watching the PREM. lot's of so called internationals do the same thing on a regular basis .The kids are here to learn !

Ridiculous the comments I’ve seen over the last 24 hours. Calling him shite , useless etc.
Was obviously poor when he went 1 on 1 but the lad defo has talent.

Always forward thinking. Brave when he gets the ball and tries to make something happen every time.

Felt really sorry for him at full time. Was scared to even come over to the Sunderland fans. Thought he had a good game overall.

Bad miss. Understandable to rage a bit in the moment but I like him. He's a good player and clearly has talent. Learning his trade (out of position by the way and doing a job). First season of regular football. 19. Perspective required and he should be judged in the long term, like almost all of our players, not written off for one miss.
