It wasn't, it was a looping hope of a ball made to look good by a good header by ballard , he runs fast , couldn't trap a bag of cement , and never looks up to pick a pass , he may improve wirh time , but we are in a promotion race now not 18 months time , he's not good enough ATM

He's been playing in his third best position I agree he's not great atm, if Roberts put a similar ball in you wouldn't be saying he just booted it in.

I think he was thinking about taking it around him but just left it too late to play it away from him and made himself look a bit daft. Hopefully next time he'll have a better plan.

The keeper did well to get straight out to him.

I was fuming at the time but it’s one mistake from a young player.

Hopefully he’ll put the next one away.
 
He's always involved, gets defenders running towards their goal but his end quality isn't there - if he can improve that bit we'll have a decent player on our hands.

It was in the centre of the goal about 8 yards out and you’re saying it’s not a good ball ?

First touch was class his second he should of come across the defender and he was out if the game and hit it with his left foot he ran too straight just a young lad learning
