RAWA May Collective Meeting Minutes

The fact nobody actually knows what no segregation is surely means should have been explained?

We can all guess and some seem likelier than others.
Surely the question was batted back to him at the meeting what it means? Although theres nowt recorded on the minutes

Given nothing in the minutes was there? We can only go on whats documented and if all parties arent happy with the minutes then should have been amended pre release.

@Becs can we follow up on Burwells statement about this please? He needs to clarify what he means
Stadium Safety Certificate has a segregated and non segregated capicity

Segregated is when they add black covers over many seats and lose out on income from them on general sale

Non segregated is when there's no black covers and just the aisle seperates fans, maybe stewards or police on the stairs and gets maximum revenue from each seat

They need to stick fans in the front rows

Why don't they just say that then ?

Non segregated to everyone who isn't a mind reader means no segregation. Not "no netting"

There's dozens of grounds where there is no netting ,buy your still segregated by a little fence, a line of stewards , and different access to turnstiles and the concourse so no mixing of fans can happen..it's nothing new and we used to have that in the south stand

No segregation must mean a neutral area like they once had at Fulham (I'm not sure if this is still in place).

So a possibility of us encouraging away fans and neutrals to buy tickets in the NWU Corner to mix in with the Home support?

Yeah **** that for a laugh. What could possibly go wrong.

Whichever definition and course of action is meant by non-segregated in this instance, it hopefully also translates into the front rows of the north upper being on sale for that match.

Gave it a go at reading

The minutes are awful (sorry minute taker but am not sure that's a skill you can confidently put on your CV there). Though maybe not their fault as it reads like one massive rambling waffle sesh

What's with the unanswered questions all the way through them?
XY asked....? Silence?
ZX asked for clarification. Silence?

After AOB can they not include a WTF section

£250 million - WTF, and WTF is a non segregation match?
I’d have been absolutely embarrassed for however drew up those “minutes”.

We are a multi-million organisation yet seemingly don’t have a professional secretary capable of writing coherent notes.

It’s clear that those at the meeting didn’t take it seriously at all.

A series of random statements by TB which many appear to have been taken on without any questioning.

I suspect there will be no proper follow-up either.

Appalling.

Nope, but if it makes you and others feel better to deride sections of the fanbase as lesser fans, have at it mate. Also, it's "moot".

Based on points levels from the other thread, those who have been going to the majority of away games and racking up BCPs would have nothing to fear anyway, from what is an entirely hypothetical idea.

At risk of repeating myself, if everyone going has done the hard yards then presumably you see the same faces every fortnight unless it's a low allocation like Bournemouth? I saw the branch furore a few months back and I've obviously got no experience of whether tickets are still re-sold or passed on, given the club seems to be trying to combat that?

If tickets are being resold then that's a whole different can of worms, hence my question, which has oddly gone unanswered. If youngsters going along now have the BCPs because they were doing the likes of Norwich and Cardiff when they were 12/13 (with their parents) then absolutely hats off to them.
Boss world thats something we can agree on if the young lads did the hard yards then more power to them but a arbitrary ballot to get young ones a ticket I don’t agree with
I personally and a am fully aware this is a contentious issue would welcome more random checks to stop the borders passing on tickets, that way the phases will naturally go to lower points not selling out in phase 2
Still trying to work out what is the point of a Membership scheme?
  • Is this going to be an added cost so you can jump the queue for away tickets, because you didnt go in the Championship.
  • Or is it going to be for people who arent Season Ticket Holders so they can get home tickets.
Genuinely asking myself the same question

I think it'll be more like this, obviously it's just speculation until they announce it fully. As I mentioned earlier in the thread me and my son have memberships at Man City, it allows us to buy tickets for home games when it gets to our level of membership, and some discount from the shop.

I'd be surprised if it was a case of 'give us x amount of money and you can jump the queue for away tickets', though it is the premier league so maybe it wouldn't be that surprising. I don't think it's a way to force season card holders out or anything like that.

I think previously it was RAWA/other supporter groups who take the minutes and the club sign off on them prior to publishing?
