Thank Crunchy it's (nearly) Friday after another busy week at the coalface where the fallout from Spygate continues to dominate the tearoom chatter amongst my Middlesbrough supporting colleagues. The Leeds United fan from Skelton-in-Cleveland is keeping quiet because they just got a fine, which "El Loco" (Bielsa to you and I) paid. I’m not too sure with this one as from our point of view hull or boro in the prem would be better!! Seems like the EFL are holding off setting a date for the final.... We'll see

Roll on five o'clock and the commencement of the weekend.

Might watch the Premier League match on Sky Sports Main Event tomorrow if I have the opportunity, will and inclination.

Evening, just passing through as that Villa v Liverpool is a big game IMO. A Liverpool win means Villa will finish 5th (or lower if Bournemouth or Brentford somehow catch them)

That means 6th spot could be Champions League if Villa do end up 5th and therefore all the extra £millions the CL brings goes to one of Bournemouth, Brighton or Brentford, along with global exposure on TV that will possibly bring in a few more armchair fans, which in turn more potential revenue longer term.

This is presuming Villa win the Europa League final next Wednesday.
