Had a fairly quiet day in SR5 , although met up with Sir Tom and Ray for a coffee. Aaron the Everton supporter has arrived in Sunderland, and we just had a bite to eat while planning our tactics for the bike ride tomorrow. Was half watching the Southampton v Boro game while getting my things ready.

Nervous and excited for the ride tomorrow, we have a photoshoot at SOL first before we set off. Will update pictures on here. Day 28 of no beer, not sure if any football. We're planning to meet the running lads, will join them for a non alcoholic drink.

Flukey cross-shot goal from Southampton last night reminiscent of Brian Usher in 63/4.
Just as well there is football going on , I'm sick of hearing about Starmer & Co.

Best wishes to @thamesvalleyman as he sets off on his marathon bike ride with Aaron. Great effort - especially considering he's a grandad!!:lol: ( worth another tenner in the pot for reminding of that you sorry!! 👍 )
