always knew i liked Tom Peeters :lol:
 
Used to work with his Uncle through work in Leicester while he was still at Sunderland in Wilko's era. He loathed Wilko with a vengeance at the time and it doesn't look like it's changed. Reckoned Wilkinson wouldn't give him the shit off his shoe.
 
That's the most active Tom Peeters was in his entire Sunderland career.

Was at a Micky Gray talk-in the other week and I got the impression the majority of the squad didn't really see eye-to-eye with Wilko. They were convinced he was on a wind up half the time apparently.

Excellent. Always liked Matt. I'd also like to see lots more on the Reid/post Reid era come out...we were close to breaking through and those responsible for it going pear shaped have lined their pockets and we're still in the relegation zone.

The current bitterness of too many of the fans is rooted in the history of the past ten years - nice to hear some humour coming out.
