The SMB appeal to buy him a tent he could pitch on the boundary for away games seems to have fizzled out
In all seriousness - How much would it cost for us to 'hire' Marty to commentate on games not covered by BBC NUFC? Seeing how he'd be at the ground covering the game in a reporting sense anyroad..... If it would be possible to set summit up online. I'd be happy to act as his helper like, mind I'm quite expensive!

He made a post earlier in the season saying that BBC Newcastle were only covering the home T20 games and 'some' LVCC home games. They must have changed tack and appear to be covering all home LVCC games since we're doing well.
I may have dreamt this, though.

They mentioned at the beginning of the season that this was one of only 2 Durham games that wouldnt be covered. I assumed it was something to do with facilities at that venue
I got an email saying ALL home CC games would be covered but none away. Would be nice to have a friendly voice for away games too though..... Shame they don't cover it, some stations like Yorkshite and Worcestershire follow ALL games home and away.
