Martí Cifuentes

I honestly think he'd do well here . Would not have been my first choice but he will raise our profile , attract better players and he will must have great connections in the game .
It's a bit early to write him off after failing at two basket case clubs .
Look I’ll back whoever cos I’m a fan and I’m will his success because I want the club to do well, but I disagree. Raising the profile needs to be followed up by delivery and I have little faith in his delivery.

I am of the same opinion. Lampard when being interviewed has a similar persona as Southgate. Quots all the cliches , puts on this stern concerned facial expression. But when it comes down to actual results on the park , can't cut it.
More a diplomat than a manager.

Yeah.I remember the north east really booming during the years 1997 to 2010.
Fantastic it was.Such a huge difference.
If only the previous Labour Lot hadn't left the country bankrupt, prior to the Tories getting in by year 1979 and having to get that business deal with Saudi Arabia to fund this country.
Back on topic - This manager is employed;so probably won't be leaving London.
Lampard unlikely to come to Sunderland & he cannot improve midfielders just as Gérard hasn't managed to do so.
I constantly ask on the politics forum , what exactly has Labour done for Sunderland . All I remember during tge Blair years was Sunderland turning into an absolute wasteland . Since the Tories have been in power , even during the years of austerity , our seafront is now thriving , Nissan has gone from strength to strength and we now have a huge studio being built in the area with 7k jobs . The town centre sky line is also changing dramatically . Now the reply will be that the Labour Council are responsible for that but the same Labour Council did fuck all under Labour Government .

If I lived there I wouldn't go drinking or playing golf then ;)
Maybe this is why Tory areas have better health outcomes, people avoid Tories in pubs.
Could be worse mate - moved down Somerset a few years back and actually saw that C@nt mogg out and about on the campaign trail yesterday around Chew valley 😂 totally panicked and just gave him a wanker signal as I drove past. He wasn't looking
He’s another level him like. Makes Lampard look like Karl Marx.

Can't comment on Sunderland because I don't live there , but NE in general . In my 70+ years , the only time there was significant spending in this region was during the Blair era. Am thinking primarily of Schools and Hospitals. But also there was a lot of fundng to attract new business to the region.
The decline since , has been nothing short of spectacular.
Under the current lot we do lead the country in potholes , I'll give em that.

The notion of it not being ok to dislike someone based on who they vote for is a bit strange. Isn’t your vote a pretty good short-hand for who you are as a person? Or at the very least what your priorities are?

especially if you’re willing to use your platform as a figure receiving media coverage to promote a certain viewpoint, I think it’s fair for people to use that as a way to judge your character.

Labour rebuilt every secondary school in Washington during their time in power. And surely Nissan went from strength to strength under Labour as well. You seem a bit bitter that your boys are gonna get trounced for laying the country to waste. Get over it loser

You’ll see what you want to see mate. We all have our own opinions.

If you think the tories have been good for the country and for us in their 14 years then not sure where you’ve been looking. I’d rather we had viable hospitals, schools, basically a working country that wasn’t a play thing for their own corrupt interests. Oh and maybe less shit in the seas and rivers. This lot have been corrupt as f*ck and if you haven’t seen it after these 14 years then you just won’t see it.

Right, back to the football ;)
