Martí Cifuentes

QPR had a bad season last season which luckily ended better than it started. But he’s in work so no from me.
Luckily  Almost as if the new manager came in and improved them.

Ignoring the borderline imbecility of your premise, I decided to ask some of my closest friends, three of whom are QPR season ticket holders about Cifuentes and the possibility of losing him to SAFC and was met with the same basic response from all of them, along the lines of - fuck off you can't have him, the difference between pre- and post -Cifuentes Rangers was night and day and they have high hopes for this season if only because for the first time in ages they play good attacking footy, with some sort of plan.

But you know best, let's put their "transformation" as these lads who go every week called it, down to luck.

Tbf Cifuentes would be a good appointment. Pretty much done a similiar job to Rohl at Wednesday who everyone wanted, and has more experience. However not a chance we pay compensation.
Sadly, that was the softener in my conversations with my QPR mates, not a chance we're paying to release anyone from a contract that demands more than £43 and a jumbo Toblerone.

He'd be mad for leaving qpr to come to this shitshow

You need to do a bit research on QPR mate if you think they are in a par with us, there ownership and ground situation is a real shitshow, not the toys out of the pram like round here.

Marti's assistant Xavi Calm knows Speakman and Dodds from Birmingham where he spent a season coaching.

And Marti only brought 1 guy to QPR so could add up with the staffing restrictions anyway

How comes it's 'no one wants to come here with Speakman et al' until we are turned down then the narrative is 'Managers should want to come here massive club etc'.

Similar to how people say we employ yes men and then when we are chasing head coaches with demands and expectations they should bend over and say yes for us because we are Sunderland

The assistant would definitely bring calm to the club. I'm in.

There are clubs, QPR being one, that are worse than ours. At least here he could really make a name for himself 'in the shop window' and could probably get a half decent wage as we get increasingly desperate.

Think its obvious that these days we are far from an attractive proposition. The reasons have been listed but the number one for me is that you would be thrown under the bus in a heartbeat by Snakey Speakman and his spy Dodds.

Cifuentes didn’t cover himself in glory in a high pressure environment at a Hammarby, so I’d be very wary of him coming to a club as big as us. I don’t see what box he ticks other than “better than Ainsworth” and his football isn’t particularly effective.

its the model thats the problem..nit the requirement-if that exists anywhere outside of the fantasies on here-to hace dodds on board

Not too sure that is the case. When has speakman thrown anyone under the bus? Fair enough he's made a botch job of the last two windows and this appointment up to now but never thrown anyone under the bus

Or convincing him to come here
This I’d have thought. Marti, how about sacking off that club you had rising impressively by the end of last season for one you finished level with and that was by then dropping like a stone?

We wouldn’t even need to get as far as, by the way, we will only sign you a couple of seven-year-olds and you’ll have to work with the chuckle brothers.
