Martí Cifuentes

Was probably my favorite of the names linked in the summer. Him or Rohl I think would have pleased a lot of us.

Funny how quickly things change. Was he having a good spell last season, or is he good manager being let down by the club/players at his disposal?
I have to agree I wanted him too in the summer.
Did really well for the last 6 months of the season, same as the Crystal Palace manager who was getting some great results, but struggling to win a game this term.

Brother in law is a QPR fan, changed formation apparently and they’re struggling to adapt and Marti is apparently being stubborn and trying to stick with it instead of changing to how they played in the 2nd half of last season! Chair has just come back for them too and he’s so important to them! He creates and scores and is a good player at this standard, Leicester tried to buy him in January for 18 million.

Surely if Leicester offered 18m they'd snap their hand off?

They won't be anywhere near it.
Maybe or maybe not, but it's well early to be taking the piss out of them for thinking they might be.

Looking at their fixtures they've played Burnley, us, WBA and Leeds as well, 4 of the top 5. Say they played Portsmouth and Cardiff instead of us and Leeds, the table could look different. Far too early.

Their away form is atrocious iirc. They won't be near it.

Theyll stay up comfortably though.

Hilarious how QPR and Sheff wed fans thought they'd be playoff contenders after a good run to stay up.
A mistake I and many others made after our various PL great escapes- expecting good form would continue from one season to the next.
Like hitting a good drive and expecting the next shot to be flushed
