It’s one of the shittest reports I’ve ever seen written, quoting other dreadful reports. I can imagine the negotiation is much harder going than it needs to be like and that is an indicator of what it would be like getting players and picking sides. Too much scrutiny and control is inhibiting and unattractive in any job.

QPR fans would genuinely be gutted he left
Therein lies the problem with some of our fans. Managers (or players) are either “shit” or genius. There’s no middle ground and it grates on me.
You get some canny players and managers denigrated because some people just can’t find it within themselves to find a middle ground.

Being half way down our list doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a lesser manager.
More likely to have been halfway down the list because he was already in work, and therefore would need to pay compensation to get him.
His record is good - in our league and elsewhere. On paper it would be a good appointment.
I’m hoping that what’s happened is they tries to get an “out of work” manager as a preference, to save the compensation - but with the way things have gone, KLD has felt obliged to spend some money, to bring this to an end.
