Being a failed Rangers manager like Michael Beale on his CV puts him in with a good shout. Maybe announce it at the awards ceremony on the 2nd May. 2 days before getting turned over by Sheffield Wednesday as they might need 3 points to stop up.

Didn't he get booted out of Brentford just before they climbed the leagues? He was doing not bad but he didn't want to follow the data system they wanted to implement. Fair to say they were right!

Ironic when you take the mick out of Scottish football in your next sentence. But you count trophies won in the second tier as Rangers manager as a good thing.
He won the equivlaent of the pizza cup that we won and the second tier of Scottish football at Rangers second try.
Hardly great acheivements, when they had a bigger budget than some English championship clubs.
