Maresca - new Citeh boss?

They'll still be there or thereabouts next season (because they have some excellent players), but I think they're in for a slow and steady decline. It'll be interesting to see if Haaland sticks around.

Nobody can realistically replace Pep.

I reckon Maresca gone within a year and then theyll be all out for Enrique.
I wonder whether it’ll be like Man U where they burn through a couple of managers before looking anywhere near like getting back to it

Enzo Maresca admitted he has found it difficult to prepare his Chelsea side to face five-man defences this season after they struggled to break down Sunderland last weekend.
Chelsea were stunned as Sunderland snatched a stoppage-time victory to leapfrog the Blues and take second place in the Premier League.

Sunderland reverted to a back five for their trip to west London, and Maresca said his tactical plan went out the window when he saw the Black Cats' lineup.

“Sunderland, nine games in the Premier League, they never played with a back five from the start. Never,”
Maresca said ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Wolves in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday. 🤣

“We prepared a Sunderland game against a back four, thinking that probably they can be a back five. So before the game, in the changing room, before the players go out for a warm-up, I need to tell the players, ‘Guys, all the Sunderland preparation, do like this, tac-tac-tac-tac, and put in the rubbish."

Good luck City.
Should have sent a Chelsea intern up to the AOL to film training sessions from behind a tree 🤣🤣

I must admit i dont see what City see in him... Failed at Chelsea.
He didn't fail at Chelsea, he won a European cup then the Club World Club with a team of hedge fund players. From what I remember Leicester fans weren't too bothered when he jumped ship there but then different people suit different clubs.

Had to endure some Talkshite commentary in the car to hear the gooners game, they’re saying Maresca is replacing Pep at the end of the season
City fans are in for a big shock to the system.
Ariola would have been a much better fit, or Glasner.
It's great that the skunks are persisting with Howe as they are going to miss out on some very good available and free managers that would have made an impact there.
