Let's face it having billionaire owners now means nowt in reality. Even when we were crowing about Dell, it meant nowt as FFP curtails most spending.

I genuinely didn’t care. I was a kid barely in my teens but as some one from Northumberland it made me love Sunderland more. They had a shiny all seater, we had Roker. They had Ferdinand and Shearer, we had Craig Russell. For all the money they spent they’ve won the same amount as us. We aren’t arrogant arseholes and we don’t demand or expect what a large amount of their lot do.

Fuck them. They deserve each other.

There has been quite a lot of demanding and expecting from you lot in the couple of years since I joined this forum.

You have demanded Short, Bain, Grayson, Ross, Parkinson, Donald, Methven and a plethora of Players out........ Dell in
Expected to bounce straight back to the premier league, then expected to get straight back to the Championship, You have been expecting to get out of league 1 this season.

We on the other hand of only demanded Ashley out and to keep Rafa

Pots and kettles springs to mind.

It doesn't curtail most spending, it curtails excessive spending. NUFC can spend a lot of money to improve the facilities without falling foul of FFP, they can spend a lot on players without falling foul of FFP. The biggest hurdle will be the wages.

You expect Ashley to put his own money in despite getting the club in the black. The majority of yours fans expect you to be challenging for the top 4.

It’s f***ing laughable to even compare our demands to yours. We’ve dropped through the divisions. You’ve had nothing of the sort.

Well I did say in the last couple of years so you need to strike off kinnear, wise, pardew, Mcclaren and there hasn't been a large push for pushing Bruce out, more a case of he wasn't a popular choice.

Like i say pots and kettles, you lot go on that we are unusually demanding and expectant, take a look at yourselves.

I find both sets of fans are by and large the same, both passionate about there clubs and both vocal if they feel the piss is taking.

Of course we want/ed Ashley, Kinnear, Wise, Sports Direct, Pardew, McClaren, Charnley out. They are/were all shit.

Spending a lot of money on a player doesn't necessarily mean they're any good. As a Sunderland fan, you should be well aware of that fact.
We didn't expect Ashley to spend his own money, we hoped he'd spend the club's money.
The majority of our fans fundamentally do not expect to be challenging for the top 4.
