If Stewart Donald think he has Sunderland fans against him now wait until the mags are owned by a billionaire Saudi all the while he fucked up our potential Dell deal

Another multi billionaire owner in the premier league can only be a good thing, it’s another team that can stop Liverpool becoming dominant, which is the only interest I have in the premier league. Just stop them scum bastards winning anything.

Have no issue with Liverpool winning things like

Just been looking at wealth of football owners there, there's only 5 teams in the PL not owned by billionaires. Newcastle are already owned by one after all.

I was surprised to see the net wealth of Barnsley's owners

I used to get wrapped up in the rivalry we had with them and tbh it was all that mattered, being better than them.
I'm really glad that's no longer the case, I couldn't give a fuck who they're owned by or how much money they have (or will have)

Ostrich Syndrome is when people prefer to 'stick their heads in the sand', much as an does, rather than accept some uncomfortable facts. On wikis, especially ones like , this is achieved by deleting all mention of these facts from articles or talk pages.

Despite the widespread popularity of the saying, ostriches do not actually bury their heads in the sand. Historians believe the saying may have risen from the writings of who wrote "...they imagine, when they have thrust their head and neck into a bush, that the whole of their body is concealed"

Have you ever contemplated jumping in a filled bath with a plugged in toaster?

Rattled 100%

Exactly it’s a good question and same principle whatever Sunderland do has no bearing on Newcastle either, so I have no idea why they would be gutted.

I would understand been gutted if they sold their best player or got knocked out in a semi final.

But gutted that a team 2 divisions below them might be getting took over that makes no difference to theirs clubs position in the league that is just plain stupid imo

Think any football fan is uneasy when their rivals get associated with takeovers involving the stupidly. Maybe more so if it’s some exotic but unknown Russian / Arab / American. To a lesser degree there’s always a bit of trepidation when a new manager is appointed.
Basically it’s the fear of the unknown, maybe just maybe this new owner is going to take the rivals to the top. Granted it’s usually never the case but no matter what league your rivals are in it brings a certain amount of uneasiness about it.
