Right. Look what happened to share prices in late 1929 after the Wall Street crash. Then look what happened 1930 to 1932.

leading economists not least Nouriel Roubini are predicting that stocks have further to slide once the reality of aggregate global demand normalises.

He also got us relegated twice. That hadn't happened in my lifetime before that. He wasn't a good owner. Would you welcome him taking over you?

Your lifetime isn't your clubs history. In my lifetime you've been in division 2 nearly 20 years.

Me too and no doubt many of our supporter base would take an Ashley type who could sort out the financial calamity that John Hall and Fat Freddie had them mired in.

They conveniently airbrush this for some reason....

At the risk of being pedantic the parachute payments were used to pay off a loan, not buy the club.
