Marc Guiu - Boomerang Transfer confirmed

Definitely more a fox in the box than getting onto the end of through balls striker (Lucky for him i can't remember the last time we played through the middle)

Have a sneaky feeling he'll come good if we are going to insist on cross after cross

Scored a goal which looked like it hit off there lad but I honestly thought he looked slower than a week in Franklands. Was like watching Danny Graham they have similar running

Glad he got his goal, a massive slice of luck but hopefully that spurs him on. Not single player on the pitch gave me any confidence what so ever tonight though. Poor all round. Let's all get behind the first team on Saturday though!

He didn’t look great tonight but it’s his first game and I don’t think he had a pre season with Chelsea so not gonna judge him too harshly. Still managed to get a goal. Not ready to start yet.

Massively undecided on him at the moment- looked decent first few mins against Burnley and then didn't do much else. Today isolated first half but had a couple of chances. Took forever to get his feet sorted early on with one and lost it, then manipulated the ball quite well for the next and fluffed the finish. There was a few balls put in for him and ahead of him second half where I thought he should have done better. But took the goal well.

I hope he fires into action with some involvement and goals now but he looks too much like someone who needs a lot of time and patience than someone ready to come in and make a difference.

No better than Burstow.
Didnt have the best game tonight, but i believe he is a far better level of player than Burstow. Featuring for Chelsea in europe last season, even played a few games for Barca. He isnt going to be a league one player like Burstow is. Give it a few games and then judge

Don’t think he played particularly well tonight but if we are wanting a different kind of profile striker to Mayenda and Isidor, then I’m not expecting somebody with pace. As the game went on, his hold up play and lay offs improved.

Would like to see us sign another striker but I’m certainly not writing him off yet

(Should’ve took a penalty like)
