I reckon anyone who thinks we're going to spend millions on a striker because he's going back are to be pretty disappointed.
 
f***ing hell man get the bigger picture you lot of imbeciles. Obviously after 2 wins from 3 games Chelsea are now our rivals for the top 6 positions so we are letting them recall a striker who won't score loads so we can pip then to a champions League spot

I doubt very much we will be getting paid by them for letting them have their player back. Probably more a case of good will in the bank for next season, and let us have him again in January without a fee or an obligation to play him.

We will be reliant on good loans for the next few years at least, and Chelsea are one of the teams loaning out the most amount of quality players. It makes sense for us to build a strong relationship with them as we seemed to with United in the 00’s. Sometimes good business isn’t squeezing every penny out of a deal, but rather making the deal a much larger one. A smaller piece of a much larger pie so to speak.
