Marc Guiu - Boomerang Transfer confirmed


hoping he's just getting up to speed as his all round game didn't look particularly clever. but he did the hard thing. putting the ball in the net

going to alot of pressure on him and Mayenda going forward if we don't sign another striker. feel if we're going to stay up one of them is going to have to get to low double figures - which would be a good return. as i just don't see us scoring many goals from elsewhere on the pitch

closer it gets to the end of the window the more i think picking up Vardy on a free isn't a bad idea

Maybe a car from Reg Vardy😭 He is Toxic i fear would have to bug Rebekka's phone and social media accounts!!! Not for me dont want to contribute to a fund raiser for her legal costs🤣
 
Thought he kept going and didn’t hide. Took his goal well enough when a ‘decent’ cross came in.
Is he the answer?….only time will tell. But more minutes and fitness will only help I think.
 
He reminded me of a young version of Lilian Leslandes.

If he scores 15 goals that come from scuffed shots, bounces off his arse and misdirected headers, it will have been a master stroke to sign him.

What powers of insight what knowledge some must have to judge condem dismiss after 90 min??? Hey ho some still hate on Harry Kane!!! Look at the places he went out on loan????

Missed a couple but i thought keeper did well on first one and least he kept putting himself in positions to score and so he did. How many games as he played pre season?? He was not the worse on show for me for sure when it comes to attitude. Remeber the same hasty assesments aimed at Myenda??

Don't think people are writing him off - certainly not me.

I can only comment on what he produced and what I saw last night which wasn't great against a L1 teams 2nd choice

I would have thought he (and others given the opportunity) would look a level above and they didn't until last 20-30 mins when they decided to put some effort in

Certainly don't think anyone of them will be knocking on RLBs door for a starting place on Saturday

Yes I thought it strange he didn't take one.
We will see how he progresses he is a big lad, but doesn't have quick feet and fast acceleration.

Was thinking about the bottling of a penalty, then remembered Calvert-Lewin took one last night. Missed after a few sitters he missed in normal time and is taking abuse online because of it.

Makes you think, DCL probably shouldn’t have took one either.

Maybe hes just not on the penalty roster .
 
He didn’t really get much service last night. He took his goal well.
The ref blew for a foul in the last minute of the game when it looked like Guiu had his arm pulled back and a Huddersfield defender blatantly hand balled in the box. I couldn’t understand why this wasn’t a penalty as I didn’t see Guiu make a foul.
