Just watched that RM Bayern fixture; Manuel Neuer really is something else isnt he?

Not just phenomenal saves, but coming off his line nobody else does it as well as Neuer does it. We’ve had plenty of pretenders to the off his line keeper role like Ederson and Donnaruma, but Neuer is a cut above the rest even at 40.

The game really will miss him, and I genuinely think he deserves to be in the bracket of player just below Messi and Ronaldo.
 

Think this will be his last season at Bayern, he's struggled to keep clean sheets all season and after the initial hell on about him joining Bayern i think he'll see out his career at Shalke. Urbig so far looks a very competent replacement
 
He’s got that crazy mentality that some of the greats have had. Got an aura about him as well. That German cockiness. Absolute class on his day

Good news, think with Neuer, Bayern probably have just enough to edge it past Sunderland in the 2026/27 Champions League semis
