Kone is a French international, top class CM who was signed for Roma by Ghisofli.
Roma are in financial difficulty and have to sell this summer, with the Italian press widely reporting that he's been added to a transfer list of players that will listen to offers for, as they desperately need to raise funds.
Kone (or his camp) have also been leaking that he feels underrated in France due to playing in Italy, so the eyes and attention of the Premier League might be attractive to him.
He wouldn't be cheap and is certainly very, very ambitious, but who thought we'd sign Xhaka?!
Maybe Ghisofli can be the man to get it over the line? Maybe I need a lie down?
