Man City - 115 Charges

I have no idea when it’ll be sorted, but that’s because the teams and the EPL didn’t have any time frames in place when they set the rules, not just Man City but every club in the league an those who get paid millions to run the league. It’s also an independent panel who have other jobs, thankfully the clubs and EPL have changed these rules so there are time frames for decisions to be made by now. That’s not Man City’s fault though.

What should Man City do? Carry on doing business or stop everything and go some rival football fans who haven’t seen 99% of the facts have decided we are guilty so punish ourselves?

Chelsea have reported themselves for rule break and that’s taking ages, clubs have used loopholes for years, City thought they found some. Until the result of the investigation is announced they are innocent and should just carry on like all other teams too.

Would never happen with a lower league club though.

Give me a single example of a lower league club that has unlimited funds to explore every legal route.

That’s the issue, Man City believe they are innocent or believe they can create enough muddy waters to get away with it (found not guilty). I know I’m repeating myself but you are comparing different things, no lower league clubs have been charged with what Man City are charged with so comparing it to Swindon picking a player that shouldn’t be in the squad is a pointless example.

It’s the same as when people compare with Everton or Forest, the time frame for cases was changed after Man City were charged so it can’t happen again also they both admitted guilt but still produced thousands of documents to try and get a lesser punishment.

If Man City are guilty they deserve the book thrown at them BUT the whole process has been done so badly by the EPL who wanted to look big and strong so they wouldn’t get an independent regulator so they went with 117 charges instead of a solid 10/15, also they agreed on there being no time frame for when a case had to be heard and decided upon.

Comparing this to any club in another league who have been charged with a totally different breach especially ones who admitted guilt is pointless and just makes others believe it’s a conspiracy when really it’s just bad governance. Lawyers are getting rich from idiots basically.

City mate just sent me this.
Dunno how true.
