Man City - 115 Charges

Man City on the whole are a good club granted I don’t like the Middle East having any involment with football but what annoys me is the mags trying to equate their situation to city as though city are even in the same stratosphere of vile they are

Sums up the Premier League
And how can you bring rules in to stop state ownership when city are owned by a state

The paddy power advert sums it up perfectly tbh - no interest in the big boys, as soon as the smaller teams do anything points deduction and fines flying about all over. Disgraceful really
I wish this could be a sticky but Everton and Forest admitted guilt, Everton admitted it and still had 40k pieces of evidence for 1 single charge. Man city have more than 115 charges, denying them and throwing the best and most intelligent people at it so its taking forever, especially as the PL are ran be idiots.

I'm not saying city are innocent and should be let off but the amount of comparisons between the two are completely wrong as apart from them being football clubs there really isn't anything else similar.

I wonder just how many fans truly understand what you just said.
I would argue we have never properly recovered
In my opinion.
Never has one relegation had such an impact on an English League football club.
I mean 1st Division club.

Obviously Bradford losing their place in the league in 1970 effectively finished them.

“What are we going to do about these 115 Man City charges?”

“Dock Everton 12 points.”
I'm not sure if them still spending really means anything. These are historical charges, and they operate well within PSR nowadays. I suppose it helps if you've spent years cheating your way into being able to do that though.

Even if a massive points deduction were enough to see them relegated, they'd be covered by parachute payments and would come straight back up.

I still think they'll get off scot-free or receive a light punishment. Just my opinion, but these two things are separate and they were always going to spend this summer, given that KdB has left and they've had a stinker of a season.
I would take a massive points deduction if it helps us stay up like. First season will be hardest for us.

We all know that even if found guilty of all charges which they won’t, it would matter not as it would be a small points deduction along with a fine of which they could manage both pretty comfortably.

The Premier League can't even stop owners when those rules bar them from ownership. Rules bar a 'state' from owning and running a football club. PIF argued in a court of law in the US (and won) that it was an arm of the state and so were the people who governed and run it. That discounts them from owning NUFC...and yet the ostriches at the EPL prevail. I have no faith they will impose proper sanctions on City or even close to it.
The Board of the FA have all been bought off, simple as that. Palms greased. Money talks. This is why I wanted a breakaway European league, because it might have shifted the problem away from the English league but surprise surprise the FA did every trick in the book to prevent that happening.

If guilty just due to the shear scale of charges they should be relegated and banned from premier league competition for a number of years.
They can’t be relegated like Juve and other Italian teams and it’s the Premier League who are charging them and they only have control over the premier league. Only way is if they got kicked out and then applied to join the efl at a certain level which is highly unlikely to ever happen, it will be a points deduction and fine IF they are found guilty.

Buying off the FA would be a bit pointless in this case, they are being charged by the Premier League and the FA have been toothless well before Manchester City became rich.

The FA and PL are totally different organisations. It’s got nowt to do with the FA.
