Seems to dodge whether these laptops were from a single supplier, and whether that's a commercial one or a charity, or even just some private donations?
Seems very strange if its a company who should have build images already....
Mind, I've been 100% expecting this to happen from the thousands of devices that people have donated. I don't believe for one instance that every one of them is being fully wiped and rebuilt before being passed out to kids.
