If you look at the wolves match thread, where we drew, you'd think many had also forgotten/overlooked how good a season we had/players had had. People wanting the likes of Mukiele selling, players were either shite or on the beach, fans didn't celebrate the goal/stayed on the concourse as the season was over, Le Bris had took us far as he could and needed to go etc.

Things like that would make me sick (if i was that heavily invested emotionally), not some shitty tv news/media saying nowt.

A few YouTube footy channels have been bringing this up. Any time a newly promoted side does well and makes Europe it would be seen as remarkable, the fact we did it these days when something mad like 90% of the teams that have come up the past three or four seasons have went back down makes it even more of an achievement. However little was made of it, had a few saying it’s a great achievement them moving on. Like motd barely a few seconds on it ffs, I remember people use to call people paranoid if they brought up a media bias against us. It’s pretty clear there is one in the north east that’s not even debatable now the rest of the media are just so far up the “top six” arses they forget there’s 20 teams in the league. Villa won a European cup and got champions league yet not much is made of their achievements. We’ve had more press on f***ing West Ham going down 🤣

I don't give a flying fuck about the media, we know what we've achieved, we know it's been an unbelievable journey and we're all on the magic bus for next season and the Europa League. The only thing that matters is our club and our supporters.
