Last time I was in the metro centre I saw at least 4 blokes wearing a Newcastle top. They're an odd breed like.

Any grown man wearing a replica football top for any activity other than doing some kind of sport eg 5 a side, is a grade A scruff

That's true like as far as the mags in boldon. But the split is different in different parts of it east boldon is 70/30 us but the colliery and west boldon are about 70/30 mags. Got mates that went to school and live there.

Aye that's my experience too. Only about 5% of boldon mags that I know go to games. Whereas our fans have nearly always had a season ticket at some point or have gone regularly at some time in their lives.

I've worked in North Shields for 15 years and their are plent of lads fans about. Most just don't go around shouting there mouths off about it.
