Mags selling their stadium to themselves

Can the the part of PIF that sold it to the other part of PIF this time buy it back In a couple of years time and just keep that cycle going to generate ways round PSR/SCR or whatever its called?

The premier league changed the rules so you can’t sell assets to yourself - however, I think this rule change only comes into effect from next season.
If that is the case I am sure we (and every other premier league club) are looking at how we can also improve our position within “this season’s rules”
We've started the process with the women's team, that sounds like it'll be done this season.

Wetherspoons has done a breakdown on twitter. But aye they’ve done it to basically avoid a breach. Without it the would have booked a 90 odd million loss. Now they’ve swung into profit 😂 it’s not sustainable like. They can only do that once

The rules are being changed, way too late but basically yes. I can’t be bothered checking exact figures but Birmingham sold their women’s team for around £50m to the same bigger company that owns them but a stupid Tommy Shelby type name who thn sold them for £1 6 months later. Without that £50m Birmingham would have broke efl rules but now don’t get punished or lose anything.

Worth noting if they were to qualify for Europe this season, stadium sales don't count towards UEFA spending rules therefore they'd be fined for that.
UEFA fine is pointlessly low isn’t it? The wage limit is the real punishment if I’m not mistaken or the you got to be in profit, can’t remember which but Chelsea and Villa were crying about it.

Football is seriously fucked once the music stops and no idiots are wanting to buy football clubs.

Be loads of tweets and comments getting deleted by Newcastle fans calling Villa cheats for doing it and they’ll be calling it anti corruption tactics by the great PIF leaders now.
It is cheating. Dodgy as. Same shite Chelsea been pulling with hotel and their ladies team. Sadly seems to be a case of “if others cheat, and are allowed to do so, we do the same”.
