Mags poach United's Head of Recruitment

what role is this for? If it's a senior one, it's seriously concerning for them I think

edit: Football League World stating: ‘Mitchell has agreed a deal to head up to Newcastle ahead of internal restructuring at St James’ Park.’

The numbers are increasing at all of the time when it comes to senior staff, on both the business and football side of things.

Turns out it is

Superb thread title, well played sir
100%.

I've no idea who the fella is and how he's seen in fitba circles but I though it was ManU or even Wist Am or Dorty Leeds at a push, when I read the title.

From now on though I'll know to be thinking of Dundee, Cambridge or Carlisle whenever the mags recruit someone for a senior role in the future.
His forte at Oxford was unearthing value for money overseas based talent and free transfers who are League One ready, players such as Brian De Keersmaecker, Michal Helik and Stanley Mills. Quite experienced in the pool the visitors will be fishing in.
He found who? 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣

Well they needed someone tbh.

I listened to an Athletic podcast talking about the Mags, and it was/ is a shambles behind the scenes regarding recruitment. Eddie Howe doing a lot of the work himself. So getting someone in should help you imagine?

I see a story on that Mag Rag from a day or two back, the big capital investment Dan Roan alluded to. Upgraded bogs, a Windows 11 laptop for Suds and signatures to evidence that all internal teams are signed up to living the club's policies each and every day. Pains me to say it but it is now becoming apparent that the Visitors truly are PIF's most favorite investment ever, just as Ice Hockey Guy said.
