Heard a couple of mags talking about Mourinho to newcastle.
I f*cking hope not. I couldn't face Geordie Nation the Sequel, especially if they survive this season.
Would he go there?
They must have been off their faces.

[QUOTE="Zig81, post: 21956797, member: 2964woah there marra, @Sima is "canny for a mag".[/QUOTE]

I agree. One of the more reasonable mags. They still can't laugh at themselves though

Not really that lofty a compliment. Like saying that hand warts aren't bad as far as warts go.
A compliment is a compliment, they don't come along often enough on here and I quite like you, you bring a smile to my face when you post around 0630 in the morning. :lol:

I wouldn't comment on such a thing without getting a decent-cross sector to look at. Every club will have deluded fans, etc.

What I will say is that though there's a narrative that is perpetuated in the media for a wide range of subjects to make them more digestible for the lazy who do not want to scratch below the surface to see the facts. Some of which are the following within football alone.

* Stoke are a long ball team
* All Man Utd fans are from outside of Manchester

And of course the 52,000 every week, Newcastle fans are deluded idiots, etc.

It's just so everything can have it's own little label to fit in within an easily absorbed form of information.

Of course both Newcastle players, incoming managers and fans don't help themselves by perpetuating it. Whether that it spin that has been put in front of players/managers by the PR people or not it's ill advised.
Wow. Proper f***ing rattled him tonight haven't we?
