This is all shit. I know Sunderland people, all our lasses family are from there, we've holidayed with them and I've drank with many a mackem when working abroad. To a man, woman, and child, they are nothing like the keyboard warriors on here who love to come on waving their "death to all mags" banners

look my point is why violence? i hate it but i know it happens been there seen it, too soft to get involved so im no fighter, these two were bellends but that should be it

This is a fair point and I speak as someone who has had his nose broken (twice) by Newcastle fans.
Juvenile behaviour but, as has been said, I now expect a lot more to come through for the Wolves game due to the social media "fame" these gave gained and post selfies galore.
Fuck them.
 
They were daft. I have no idea what went on tbh as there seems to be differing accounts. If they wandered around the stadium (as some say on here) chanting songs and got a smack, then as much as it's wrong I would say they would only have themselves to blame. If all they did was go in with the Burton fans then take a selfie after everyone has left (which has also been claimed on here) then apart from being slightly obsessed and childish have they done nay harm? Either way I think talk of retribution is beyond childish for a piss take in the past. I'd end this all however by saying that grown men should know better - as Blyth Pirate said it's an emotional game. There's a time and place.

I agree with this. I would imagine they've had some grief at work about this, I know I would. I did something daft at a derby game that I would be mortified about now, but that was 28 years ago. These muppets are the same age as me.

It would be terrible. I'd still think wtf were you doing in the first place. I wish some of their friends spoke to them beforehand to explain how serious it could boil over into. Nothing good could come out of it. Take the mick, laugh your bollocks off but don't put yourselves in a position where it could turn nasty like going round the ground on a match you're not playing knowing it will anger some people, then be daft enough to post it on social media with your details on. Madness in my eyes.

I fully agree. There are all but no go areas in cities all over this country (Not up here) and, if someone went to take selfies for social media and come unstuck then they'd deserve no sympathy at all.

I hope nothing serious happens but it wouldn't surprise me if they are still spouting about it. That's why they did it in the first place. To say we went there, took the piss and nothing happened. It's the antagonising attitude that will have quite a lot of people saying oh you f***ing think so, do you? You should spend your time writing posts telling your fellow mags please no going over the top and antagonising a whole city please instead of telling SAFC what not to do. Pull a dogs tail and some will turn round and nip you, whether you were only messing around or not. You expect kids not to know this, not olwd fat hairy biker lookalikes

You have a guy in here saying his group need names, addresses and where they drink for these lads and when they get them these guys won't be smiling anymore.
Then you have people laughing saying they are going to be looking over their shoulder wondering if tonight is the night they are going to get it, who seem to be taking part in a group effort to track them down. After getting the information they then post his name, where he drinks and when he will be there as requested.

What happens if this guy and his band of merry men turn up to that pub and stab one of the lads and he dies.
What if they follow him home and chuck a petrol bomb through the window in the middle of night with his wife and kids in there.
Just seems a bit of a stupid thing to do to me, I don't think anything will come of it but what if it is.

I don’t recall Sunderland supporters ever stabbing anyone, or petrol bombing a house occupied by women and children or otherwise. We don’t have any history of using improvised incendiaries. If they are concerned about the possible consequences of their actions then they should have thought it through first.
