Mags in the Morecambe end

Find this hard to believe to be honest. More likely small town charvers on a big day out, adopting Newcastle songs doesn’t mean they were mags. It’s canny easy to know what teams sing about other teams these days with YouTube and social media so the songs they sung mean nowt, not that I could hear any from the south end of the ground. Didn’t see a Morecambe fan all night to be honest either in the town or around the ground.
Morecambe fans were in yates pre match.

I was In the away end working and didn't hear a north east accent.
They were just signing the mags' songs that have went viral on social media.

If they got him, they should charge the twat with attempted murder.
At least one person has planned to purchase a smoke bomb, attend the SOL (most likely whilst not being a supporter of either side playing), knowing that they would be above other fans, and chosen to throw it at fans below.

This isn’t the first time. I’m sure it’s already happened this season for that matter! Was it Portsmouth a couple of seasons ago as well?

It’s quite violent if you think about the thought process to lead to the action.

Yep as I expected. Without sounding big headed or cocky, we’re still most teams’ big day out so bound to attract the charver knackers from these clubs. We used to get ‘Shearer Shearer’ years ago as an attempt to wind people up and I’ve had the misfortune to hear our own fans sing you’ll never walk alone at Old Trafford, doesn’t mean there were scousers in our end.

Out of interest mate, how did you find their fanbase?
Always follows the same pattern with small clubs. Always really sound when the gates open, have a good chat with them and get to know their players, how they're doing etc.
Normally just older fellas or dad and sons at this point. The proper fans who have followed them for years.

Then 30 mins before ko you'll get the pricks coming in a group, trying to get shit songs going about Sunderland. Ipswich were the same.

feel for the genuine morecambe fans to be honest as their away end was clearly hijacked by day trippers tonight.

They only seem to attend games where they see us batter the team they are supporting. Classless.

they are a lucky charm for us

full

more money for SAFC too 👍
