It’s canny easy to know what teams sing about other teams these days with YouTube and social media so the songs they sung mean nowt, not that I could hear any from the south end of the ground. Didn’t see a Morecambe fan all night to be honest either in the town or around the ground.

Yep as I expected. Without sounding big headed or cocky, we’re still most teams’ big day out so bound to attract the charver knackers from these clubs. We used to get ‘Shearer Shearer’ years ago as an attempt to wind people up and I’ve had the misfortune to hear our own fans sing you’ll never walk alone at Old Trafford, doesn’t mean there were scousers in our end.

Always follows the same pattern with small clubs. Always really sound when the gates open, have a good chat with them and get to know their players, how they're doing etc.
Normally just older fellas or dad and sons at this point. The proper fans who have followed them for years.

Then 30 mins before ko you'll get the pricks coming in a group, trying to get shit songs going about Sunderland. Ipswich were the same.
