Mags first to wear replica tops.

dunno what the scruff were wearing when they failed to copy us in '74 (and ever since), some fans wore colours since Victorian times, including shirts. Shirts 'like the players' were easy early on as they were only fairly generic. It was not unusual for someone to wear a local/training top that 'looked like' their teams and there were examples of this in 73 - maybe more in 74. But official replica shirts sold by clubs were first introduced by Leeds in '75 when they changed to all white (copying Real Madrid - officially). So the Mags are as ever claiming something wrongly.
