Mags fanzone in Durham

It hasn’t and it isn’t a ‘stronghold’ at all, very big and vocal Sunderland contingent up here ……mostly armchair/pub watching mags up here, absolute bellends the lot of them
My mate reckons for every 1 sunderland fans there are 20 mags up there

But for every 20 regular Sunderland match goers, NUFC will have 1 of the equivalent

It's not like, I've lived in Durham all my life and it's 50/50, should be more of us like, but unfortunately a lot of plastic gravy slurpers.

so 50:50, far far cry from the many many posters on here who believe its "a sunderland stronghold". For the record I think its atleast 70:30 in favour of mags.
High Crown haven't learned

We’ll never be mastered by black and white bastards.

I just laugh at the fuckers in their numerous replica kits/club wear given the majority of them have never set foot in at St James
I was up in Consett when they were playing Arsenal at home, and you couldn’t get in some off the pubs watching the Scum

No but it sort of makes sense that consett has always been a mag stronghold
You must not realise that historically folk from Co Durham were proud that Sunderland was regarded as their team. In the 1960’s the Consett/Stanley branch was Sunderland’s biggest supporters club in numbers.
Presumably since Keegan’s days they have probably attracted the bandwaggoners who tend not to go to matches but make their mouth's go.

Aye that’s their preferred way of supporting rather than going to the game…..always plenty of excuses as to why they can’t get to the match

75% have only been interested since the takeover
There'll be no stopping them once Dicky Holden opens up the rail line to the Metro Centre.

All that will be needed then is a Metro to the Metro Centre, and all the horcruxes will be in place.
