Mags fanzone in Durham

Now that I know where it is I won't be going there- ever . Why don't they open a venue in Saudi the land of their sponsors/owners Should go down well over there could be match made in heaven

On the banks of the River Wear. Sure Durham Cathedral is part of Newcastle.😝
And the cricket club - no doubt durham prison we can have
"Come on Newcarsel City".
"Soccer club of Newcarsel City" - aka Saudia Arabia FC
Weird lot Durham mags mind, can tell they feel inferior to proper Newcastle fans actually from Newcastle supporting heartlands and as a result they feel the need to act extra Geordie for some odd reason.
They hate Sunderland more than the proper mags but don't know why and will slag Sunderland off just to be part of the geordie nashun.

So if a pub in Cramlington decided to be a Sunderland fanzone, then lot wouldn't be complaining about it?
If a pub in Cramlington wanted to be a Sunderland fan zone, they'd be perfectly entitled to do so. If Newcastle fans didn't like it, tough luck, they could simply go somewhere else. I don't know Cramlington very well: are there a decent number of Sunderland fans? My suspicion is that the divide will be very heavily weighted in favour of Newcastle and therefore a poor business decision.

Personally, I couldn't give a monkey's what a particular bar in Durham wants to do. Being realistic, there are plenty of fans of both clubs in Durham. It's 15 miles to Sunderland or 18 to Newcastle. It's not unreasonable to expect that there's a mix of fans in a city like that, especially since so many people move about in the region and keep their childhood club. Bohemia have chosen to brand themselves a Newcastle fan zone to get some extra punters in. It's a business decision and they must think it will pay off. Meanwhile another bar in Durham would be perfectly entitled to be a Sunderland fan zone if they thought it made financial sense.

Bet there's no more than 30 in the 'fanzone'. Rest will be bottomless brunch lot not watching it. Pile of shit marketing ploy to look relevant.
*30 is generous....15.
