are currently trying to blame SAFC fans for the bubble trip.
Apparently we smashed up bogs and Metros and this is also due to minor pitch invasions when we score.
The way the Tyneside grapevine works, this lie will be fact by the end of today.
April 2013 is NOT even warranting a mention either.

good to see the current leaders of SAFC jump to the defence of our supporters.

''From what I hear it's stemmed from a nexus request to the police after several years of them smashing up the metros and the police not doing enough to stop it, nexus told the police last week they'll not run their service at all to prevent them travelling and now why the bubble bus journey has had to be put on.''

''Was going to say, surely it's got much more to do with the way they behave like f***ing chimps every season, without fail, on the Metro. If I was in charge of it I'd tell them where to go too.''

''"Obliged to supply toilets"?!? On previous evidence, the floor of any given metro is more than enough of a toilet for them (unless it's 'number two', then it's up the walls of the SJP bogs and on the concourse. F*cking animals)''

''I'd have sympathy if they weren't on RTG claiming they've never, ever done anything wrong and they're being punished for our actions.

Must've forgot the pitch invasions every single f***ing time they score.

Exactly this. Every f.ucking time.

Luckily, their stewards take their job seriously and, after apprehending them, escort them from the stadi.......

Ah, wait, no. Sorry. They gently usher them back to their seats once they've completed their monkey dances.

And which set of angels is responsible for attacking an opposition player during the game? Or smashing up the Metro. Or burning boats? (okay, that's not strictlyrelevant. )''

But aye, it's all our fault...

They've boasted about turning some gay bar over in Newcastle and it's become some badge of honour for them to flood social media with tales about "running at mags" and generally behaving like complete tossers all the way from Sunderland to Newcastle as well as smashing up trains on their way to Middlesbrough or wherever they're playing.
They also seem unable to comprehend that unlike the deserted industrial wasteland they call home, Newcastle is a modern bustling city which will also be crowded with people not attending the football match on a Saturday lunchtime.''

'''Defo not going to the derby this year, Jim Hughes buses to and from the game, all because the toon army smashed there own town up cos they got beat 3-0, it's pathetic! Spoiling the game! I'm sure the police had played there part in it not being televised as well! w*****s'

They are so proud of their 'modern bustling city, they set cars alight and smashed some of it up.

Yes, Sunderland probably is a deserted industrial wasteland, but that has nothing at all to do with residents of each. It is far more to do with corruption between WWII and the 90s. They really do have a completely misguided and false superiority complex.

If they all lived in Darras Hall and regularly attended the Theatre Royal and Laing Gallery I'd understand but, I've never seen such a bunch of down and out scruffy c unts as I have on the walk to and from the ground the past few years

Exactly.
Most of these 'snobs' don't live in Newcastle centre anyway.

I've been to plenty derbies home and away and I've honestly never seen any bother. Not a single punch thrown. I'd remember if I had cause I'm a coward and I'd have ran a mile. I don't understand any of this from either side. I've even been out in Newcastle with my mag mates before and after and never felt threatened or anything. I absolutely believe that people that find trouble want it and it's probably 50/50 from both sides...

Absolutely, It's a social problem, this fixture has been volatile since the early 1900s. Large-scale Football Hooliganism was basically wiped out after The Taylor Report and anyone stupid enough to do it deserves the increasing sentences they get. However, the angry pissed-up charver still exists in all towns and allowing them to drink from 6am, all-day only ever results in one thing

Half the daft fuckers seem to be totally unaware that outside the city centre, the place in the main is an absolute shithole. This despite 90% of them living in said shitholes.

Many of the most bitter and vociferous live away from Newcastle; those over the river seem very bitter.
Loads who aren't even football fans 'hate mackems' despite never going or mixing
I am being hypocritical mind as I am not from Sunderland but generally defend them to the last ditch.

I've found the same from working there mind. Genuine hostility from people who've never set foot in Sunderland and have no interest in football. Bizarre.
