Mag confidence.....

Looking back over some of the Sunderland teams that've won the last 5 gives me confidence the Mags can fuck this up as well.

We have some better players now and this is a perfect start for a new manager as has been proved ;)

Most Mags I know had a laugh about their result last weekend and think that this weekend it'll be two shite teams embarrassing themselves. 0-0 nailed on.

Well they've conceded 10 in 3 games and we scored 2 in our last home game ........ so 0-0 is about right ;)

Yes I'd have been confident playing a team who's bottom of the league with no confidence as I've already stated. But they aren't bottom of the league unfortunately any more and they've just scored six goals in their last game easily beating a team that took the piss out of us that season, whereas we lost (again) against another poor team and created one chance in the whole game from a scrappy set piece.

Newcastle are poor, they've won 1 game this season and no one has a worse goal difference or has conceded more goals.

They're below Sunderland in the league.

As I said, before the game, tactics would play a great part and Allardyce let Newcastle have the ball so we could hit their poor defence on the counter.

Once we'd gone ahead we kept everyone behind the ball, allowed Newcastle to blow themselves out and hit them again.

Allardyce knows how to get results .......... that's why I was confident ;)

17 hours drinking and I'm finally off to bed, hope your day's been as good as mine marra! Newcastle man  f***ing mugs.

We've just got to keep our heads when your cloggers inevitably try to kick lumps out of us, keep our heads, play our own game and be prepared for the onslaught of long balls that will come in to our box.

Not cut and dry by any means, I'm still not sure I can see a result for us more because of the mental edge you lot have from the recent derbies.

Would take a draw right now.
Aye reeto.( canny long ball off Kabs the left wing wizard)
