Mag Comments On The Upcoming Derby

I don't have any problem with 'Mag threads' ....... they're an interesting subject for discussion.

After all, there isn't another group of supporters, in the country, who've done as much to show themselves up ...... possibly the world.

If people smash up their own town, riot in the streets against the police, punch a horse, have mock funerals, drive vans around demanding they sack the manager, jump around like mental patients every time a TV camera is pointed at them, continually rewrite history, issue death threats to their owner etc, etc, etc. then it's beyond reason that we should ignore them.

It's amusing that they're acting sensibly, at the moment, and being relatively quiet. They're 'rising above' inane banter and prefer to discuss form, tactics, etc.
But we all know that if they win the derby they'll drop the pretence and revert to their normal embarrassing selves.

Fuckin' Hell man ! Will you all get a fuckin' grip on reality FFS . Yes we've scored umpteen goals past them in the the last 6 matches with only Du du du du du du du Debuchy's goal in reply . Yes they're rapidly going into meltdown due to their recent performances while we're felling optimistic about ours . Yes our manager seems to have a grip on reality while theirs is struggling to come to terms with Male pattern baldness .

I reckon given their arrogance that they they are going to win this time then the reaction and fall out to another defeat will surpass anything that has gone before. Lets hope we will see the spiteful ***** in full flow

not really derby related but thought id share, took my lasses bairn to his first match ( family from Washington ,my lasses side of the family are barcodes and bairns dad is us )
my lasses side are typical gobshites, nobody goes to the games so I took the little fella and he loved it!

my lass got a text off her mate (went a few times in the glory days when they won fk all)

Come derby day as usual I will be full of zero confidence, no matter what the current record has been, full of zero confidence. Been a salesman all my life and on the 1st of the month the performance against target is reset to zero and no-one cares what you did last month. I hate derbies almost as much as I love them, ITHICS :eek:

I'm here fella. I stand corrected on the Liverpool sell out, we did the season before though so I'm not sure what the weird attraction is about Liverpool meaning that apart from the Derby it bring's the most people through the gate.
