But just shows how much our two wins were played down by the media, can't remember this hype when we won it. Sky jizzing all over them cos they are Lancashire.

You are definitely a funny un. Last season when the masses were criticising Stoneman you were fairly supportive. This season he plays only a handful of games because of injury scoreds a biggish hundred averages over 50, makes a breakthrough in the one day game and you are on his case while others are full of praise.

You would think you just set out to be controversial :roll:

This season was a big step forward and at 23 he needs to continue to improve.
 
Allott was very smug afterwards on Sky but they have waited a long time I suppose.

What a shite season for Yorkshire, they're relegated and Lancs are champions.

What a tense day - got fuck all done at work following that! I can't quite explain it, never thought I'd see the day, hadn't won it in my lifetime, hadn't won it in my Dad's lifetime! All the great players I've seen over the years - Atherton, Fairbrother, Wasim, Murali, Flintoff and yet we win it with a team full of largely young, homegrown players (and by cheating and playing at outgrounds all year!).

Thought we were going to blow it when we couldn't get Trego but just got there in the end.

Yeah I remember Flat Jack! Although those Gillette finals of the 70's were before my time. I grew up watching Fowler, Mendis, Lloyd etc and then later the early 90's vintage that won a lot of one day trophies. Never seen a day like this though!

And yeah, should be getting pissed but got a young family and not many Lancy mates down here!

For some reason I though we had a sniff when I realised Carberry and Mackenzie were still in, especially when they made it to lunch. Just been one of those seasons and the win with 4 minutes to go last week made me think there was one final twist around the corner.

How many draws were there at the club ground that is Blackpool all year.

Its funny how you pretty much had the same set of players last year and struggled to stay up, yet this year you win the league.
