As if its worth it.......

Lancs v Worcs - Day 2
Lancs 282
Worcs 144-6

Somerset v Notts - Day 2
Somerset 20-2
Match delayed

Warks v Hants - Day 1
Hants 48-5

Wave goodbye to the championship boys & girls.

Could do with a day of rain at Lancashire as they're effectively 131-1. Somerset are in a state but a deal could be done there I guess. Mind Notts don't need to win as bad as Hampshire did up here last week.

If Lancashire win they'll be 13 points ahead. I do believe 2 wins out of 3 could do it for us. We're capable too. A mid-table side and 2 relegation threatened sides. Mind the weather will have to be kind.

Warwickshire are the danger team for me. If they win this game they'll go above us by a min of 2pts with a game in hand. They then play Yakshite home & away before Notts at home and Hants away in the final game.

However, there's still a ray of hope in the current game as they're currently 51-3.

Just checked Lancs final 3 games and they're Worcs away, Hants at home & Somerset away.

We have Notts & Sussex away and Worcs at home in the final game.

Looks like Hants could play a significant part in where the Championship goes.

But we've got 2 away games, where the weather can't possibly fuck us over as badly as it has done for our last 2 home games.

I still think we'll who the league as Lancs and Warwickshire are much more likely to slip up than we are, assuming we're not effected by the weather anymore.

Now that was some collapse by Warks. :-D Pity Worcs couldn't have done us a favour too. Anyway.......

Lancs 13 - 198
DCCC 13 - 185
Somerset 13 - 177
Warks 12 - 173

Still wide open.
