Don't think we've had one of these for a while. Anyway.......

Day 1
Yorks v Lancs
Lancs 79-2

Warks v Sussex
Warks 93-2

Hants v Notts
Delayed start

Tomorrow we're away to Somerset. A win for us and Yorks could see us extend our lead to over 40pts depending on what Warks do.

lancs now 94 for 3

warks now 113 for 2

hants still raining

two more wins and we are Champions IMO

there are bound to be some rain effected CC games in the run in making results hard to come by

Absolute "must not lose" game starting today for Durham. A draw wouldn't be the worst result, a win great but we cannot afford to lose.

Yorkshire now 166 for 8 thanks to a century partnership for the 9th wicket. They're close to avoiding the follow on now but Lancs obviously still favourites.

Not looking too good for us at the moment with Tresco reaching 3 figures.

I take it we need Yorkshire to win or get a draw

Yes. Lancs are in 2nd place 23 points behind us so if they have a convincing win against Yorkshire and we get stuffed at Somerset they'll be neck and neck with us at the top with a game in hand.

Warwickshire are currently in 3rd place and looking well placed in their game against Sussex so it is important that we get back into the game with Somerset.

Yakshite need 284 to win in 4 sessions.

They now need 148 in 3 sessons but they've only got 4 wickets left. Let's hope Pyrah and Sidebottom can repeat their heroics from the first innings.

In the Warks v Sussex game Sussex are 71 for 2 after following on and still trail by 191. I think Warks will win that one and will probably leapfrog Lancs if Yorks pull off the victory.

How come Pyrah went from scoring 100 at number 9 to coming in at 11 in the second innings? Even with Bresnan coming back...

Yeah I noticed that. They promoted Sidebottom up the order following his first innings half century but demoted Pyrah. To be fair most of the Yorkies bowlers can score decent runs so I suppose it doesn't really matter which order they bat in.

Warwickshire have won their game so our place at the top of the table is under threat.
